The closed cells are often used for electrical, communication, or other utility raceways within the floor system. In some instances, utility raceways are blended with the composite deck profiles<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-78c7cb52-ce5c-483e-8c7a-a3896304a04b\">A composite slab with profiled steel decking has proved over the years to be one of the simpler, faster, lighter, and economical constructions in steel-framed building systems. The system is well accepted by the construction industry due to the many advantages over other types of floor systems.
